Shipping Policy

Thank you for supporting The Mars Glass. This page explains how and where we ship our handcrafted glass jewelry.

Where we ship

At this time, The Mars Glass ships orders primarily within the United States.

If we ever expand to other countries, we’ll update this page before any changes go into effect.

Order processing time

Each piece is carefully packed before it leaves our studio. Most orders are processed and handed to USPS within 1–3 business days (Monday through Friday, excluding U.S. holidays).

Processing time is separate from the carrier’s transit time. For example, an order placed on Friday evening will typically begin processing on the next business day.

Shipping methods and estimated delivery times

All orders ship via USPS. The options available at checkout may include:

• Economy Shipping  
  Carrier: USPS (Ground Advantage or similar economy service)  
  Estimated transit time: 5–8 business days after shipment  
  Best for: non‑urgent orders within the U.S.

• Standard Shipping  
  Carrier: USPS  
  Estimated transit time: 3–4 business days after shipment

• USPS Priority Mail  
  Estimated transit time: typically 1–3 business days after shipment  
  Notes: This is an estimated timeframe provided by USPS and is not guaranteed.

• USPS Priority Mail Express  
  Estimated transit time: typically 1–2 business days after shipment  
  Notes: USPS offers a delivery guarantee for Priority Mail Express to most U.S. locations.

All delivery timeframes are estimates based on USPS service standards and may vary depending on destination, weather, holidays, and other carrier or network delays. Delivery dates are not guaranteed unless expressly stated by USPS for specific services (such as Priority Mail Express).

Free shipping

From time to time, we may offer free shipping promotions (for example, free economy shipping on orders over a certain order amount). When a promotion is active, details will be clearly shown in your cart and at checkout.

Shipping costs

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the shipping option you select, current USPS rates, and any applicable promotions. Shipping charges are non‑refundable unless a refund is required by law or the shipment was the result of our error.

Order tracking

Once your order ships, you’ll receive a shipping confirmation email with your USPS tracking number.

Please allow up to 24 hours after shipment for tracking updates to appear. You can use the tracking link in your email to follow the progress of your package.

Shipping address accuracy

Please double‑check your shipping address at checkout. We ship to the exact address you provide. We are not responsible for orders shipped to an incorrect or incomplete address that was entered at the time of purchase.

If you notice an error after placing your order, email themarsgutters@gmail.com as soon as possible with your order number and the correct address. If your order has not yet been processed, we will do our best to update it. If the order has already shipped, you will need to work directly with USPS to attempt an intercept or update.

Delayed, lost, or stolen packages

Once an order has been handed to USPS, we have access to the same tracking information that you see.

If your package seems delayed:
• Check your tracking link for the latest scans  
• Allow a few extra days beyond the estimated delivery window  
• Contact USPS with your tracking number if tracking has not updated for several days

If your package is marked as “Delivered” but you cannot locate it:
• Check with household members and nearby neighbors  
• Look around doors, porches, mailrooms, and other delivery spots  
• Contact your local USPS office with your tracking number and delivery details

We are not responsible for packages that are confirmed as delivered by USPS but cannot be located by the recipient. In these situations, USPS is the best resource for further investigation. We will gladly provide any information we have to help you with a claim.

If your package arrives visibly damaged, please take clear photos of the outer box, inner packaging, and the item itself, and contact us at themarsgutters@gmail.com within 3 days of delivery. This helps us investigate with USPS and determine the best way to make things right.

International shipping

We currently do not offer international shipping through this store. If this changes in the future, we will update this policy with available destinations, carriers, and estimated delivery times.
